Entry of 5 states including Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra to Delhi only when the corona report will be negative

The Delhi government has become alert because of the increasing cases of corona in the country. Now people going to Delhi from 5 states will be required to show the Corona Negative Report. People coming to Delhi from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Punjab will get entry in Delhi only after showing negative RT-PCR. The rule will remain in force from 27 February to 15 March.

 

The pace of corona patients in the country is increasing rapidly. On Tuesday, the number of new Corona patients outnumbered recovery in 11 states. Maharashtra had the highest number of 6,218 infected. Now in all 36 districts of Maharashtra, Corona has regained momentum. There has been a tremendous increase in the number of cases received every day. The maximum number of cases are being found in districts like Pune, Mumbai, Thane, Nagpur, Amravati.

 

Apart from Maharashtra, the pace of cases has increased in 4 districts of Gujarat. These include Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, and Rajkot. The situation is deteriorating in 3 districts of Madhya Pradesh. These include Indore, Bhopal, and Betul. In this way, there are now 122 districts in the country, where cases of Corona are increasing.

 

100 people lost their lives in 24 hours

On Tuesday, 13 thousand 462 new patients were found in the country. 13 thousand 659 people were recovered and 100 died. So far, more than 10 million people have been infected. Among them, 1 crore 7 lakh people have been cured, while 1 lakh 56 thousand 598 patients died. There are 1 lakh 44 thousand 27 patients who are undergoing treatment.

 

More than 75% of health care workers vaccinated in 12 states

According to the Union Health Ministry, more than 75% of healthcare workers in 12 states including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat have been given at least the first dose of vaccine. So far, one crore 19 lakh 7 thousand 392 people have been given vaccine doses. Of these, 64 lakh 71 thousand 47 healthcare workers have been given the first dose, while 13 lakh 21 thousand 635 healthcare workers have been given the second dose. The first phase of vaccination of healthcare workers started on 16 January.

 

At the same time, 41.7% of the registered frontline workers across the country, ie, 41 lakh 14 thousand 710, have been given the first dose of vaccine. In the second phase, the vaccine dose was started to be given to the frontline workers from 2 February. Till the 39th day of vaccination i.e. at 6 pm on Tuesday, 1.61 lakh vaccines had been given. The first dose was given to 98 thousand 382, ​​while the second dose was given to 63 thousand 458 healthcare workers. 8,557 sessions were held during this period.

 

Corona updates

 

Five members of Maharashtra minister Chhagan Bhujbal's staff were found to be Corona positive. Bhujbal was found positive on 22 February.

 

The central government said on Tuesday that two mutated variants of Corona N440K and E484K have been found in Maharashtra, Kerala, and Telangana. NITI Aayog member Dr. VK Paul said that there is no evidence yet that the increase in corona cases in the country is due to these variants. According to the Health Ministry, two more South African strains have been reported in the country. So far 6 people have been found infected with this strain. At the same time, there have been 187 cases of UK variants so far.

Brazilian strain has also been confirmed in one person.

 

A video of Maharashtra minister Sanjay Rathore has surfaced. In this, he is seen going to a temple in Washim district with thousands of supporters in violation of Covid-19 protocol. Most of them were without masks. The Maharashtra government has come under the BJP's target after the video went viral. The BJP has demanded action against the minister.

 

Because of the increasing cases of Corona in the country, the Prime Minister's Office called an emergency meeting on Tuesday. Corona's muted strain was also discussed in the meeting.

 

State of 6 states

 

1. Maharashtra

On Tuesday, 6,218 people were found corona infected in the state. 5,869 patients recovered and 51 died. So far, 21 lakh 12 thousand 312 people have been infected, 20 lakh 5 thousand 851 people have been cured. 51 thousand 857 have lost their lives due to this epidemic. 53 thousand 409 patients are currently being treated.

 

2. Kerala

On Tuesday, 4,034 new infections were identified in the state. 4,823 patients recovered and 14 infected lost their lives. So far, 10 lakh 40 thousand 904 people have been infected here. Out of this 9 lakh 81 thousand 835 patients have been cured. 4,120 have lost their lives, while 54,665 are undergoing treatment.

 

3. Madhya Pradesh

The Corona report of 246 people came positive on Tuesday. 200 patients recovered and one died. So far, 2 lakh 59 thousand 967 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 53 thousand 963 people have been cured, while 3,855 patients died. 2,149 patients are currently being treated.

 

4. Gujarat

On Tuesday, 348 people were found corona infected. 294 people recovered. So far, 2 lakh 67 thousand 767 people have been infected. Of these, 2 lakh 61 thousand 575 people have been cured, while 4406 patients have died. 1,786 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

5. Rajasthan

On Tuesday, 76 people were found corona infected in the state. 87 people recovered. So far, 3 lakh 19 thousand 702 people have been infected. Of these, 3 lakh 15 thousand 722 people have been cured, while 2,785 patients have died. 1,195 patients are undergoing treatment.

 

6. Delhi

 

On Tuesday, 145 new patients were found and 130 were cured. Two also died. So far, 6 lakh 38 thousand 173 people have been affected by the infection. Of these, 6 lakh 26 thousand 216 people have been cured, while 10 thousand 903 patients died. 1054 is undergoing treatment.
