Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has challenged the arrest made by the CBI in the Excise Policy Scam case in the Delhi High Court.
The CBI arrested Kejriwal on June 26 and the court sent him on a three-day CBI remand. After this, on June 29, when the remand period ended, the court sent Kejriwal to judicial custody till July 12. The High Court had stayed the conditional bail granted by the lower court in the money laundering case related to the excise scam.
Kejriwal is not cooperating in the investigation - CBI.
It is noteworthy that after the end of Kejriwal's three-day custody on Saturday, the Delhi court sent him to judicial custody till July 12 and said that his name has surfaced among the "main conspirators" in the Excise Policy case.
