New Delhi: The country is going to get the gift of the Corona vaccine soon. Meanwhile, ABP News had a special conversation with Delhi AIIMS director Randeep Guleria. Dr. Randeep Guleria says that 100 percent of the people of the country do not need to be vaccinated. After applying the vaccine to 50 to 60 percent of people, the virus will not spread further.

Dr. Randeep Guleria said, "There are two motives for applying the vaccine. One is we want to reduce our voltage. Those people who are more at risk of corona, they should take the vaccine. Secondly, we want to reduce the corona case. , So that the economy is back on track. For this, if we apply vaccines to 50-60 percent people of the country, the spread of the virus will stop. The virus will not spread from one person to another. In this way, the corona case is also very low. Will go. We will not need 100% of the people to be vaccinated. "

"Vaccine will arrive everywhere in the country"

Dr. Guleria said, 'The vaccine trial is in the final stages. Regulatory approval should be found at the end of this month or in the first month of next year. In the next two-three months, the entire process of vaccination will start. Vaccines will reach everywhere in the country. Early next year, not one, but two-three vaccines will be available. If there is more vaccine, then more vaccines will be available.

He said, "It cannot be said that once you have a corona, it cannot be covid again in the next six months or a year. The safe way is to apply vaccines to all of us. Whether they have corona or not There is no harm in applying the vaccine, but the benefit will be that its immunity will increase. It would be better to give the vaccine to all of us. "

AIIMS director Randeep Guleria also said, "It is believed that after the introduction of the new vaccine, there will be so much immunity that the total protection will be available. But it is also possible that some vaccines will not get the total protection and the risk of less infection again. Also. Its figures have not been revealed yet. "
