FATF has said in a separate statement regarding Afghanistan that money laundering and terror financing in Afghanistan is developing an environment of risk, which can have an impact on the whole world.
The FATF has said that the Islamic State's defeat in 2019 significantly affected its ability to generate revenue, but the group is still able to raise money through legal and illegal sources.
