Fidayeen attack on PAK's Karachi University: 5 killed including 3 Chinese women; the Baloch organization said - will not leave the Chinese

There was a fidayeen attack on a university in Pakistan's Karachi city on Tuesday afternoon. 5 people have died. The attack happened close to a car near the Confucius Institute. According to the police, three of the 5 people killed are female professors from China. Fourth is his Pakistani driver and the fifth is a guard. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif visited the Chinese embassy and condoled the incident.

Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon told The News website that it was a fidayeen attack and it was carried out by a woman wearing a burqa. Those killed included three Chinese female professors, their driver, and a guard.

The citizens of Balochistan have been opposing the CPEC since the beginning. Chinese trolleys catch fish in the sea here and export them. Due to this, people earning their livelihood through phishing have faced starvation. Every year hundreds of Baloch Pakistani soldiers kidnap and torture them to death. Baloch insurgents have killed 60 Pakistani soldiers in recent days.

Police have surrounded the spot and started an investigation. Some sources claim that the car was being driven from a gas cylinder and the blast took place in it. However, later the police chief made it clear that it was not a gas cylinder blast, but a fidayeen attack and was carried out by a woman Burkanshi. A bomb disposal squad has been called to the spot.
