Foreign Minister Jaishankar met Japan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, shared information on Twitter

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Yamada Kenji, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Japan on Wednesday. Jaishankar shared this information on his Twitter handle and wrote that he had a good discussion with Japan's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Yamada Kenji.

 

As G-4 members, India and Japan work together to advance reformed multilateralism. The need to take the IGN process forward more effectively was also discussed between the two countries.

 

Meeting with the President of the United Nations General Assembly in New York

External Affairs Minister Jaishankar also met the President of the United Nations General Assembly, Saba Korosi in New York. During this, India's G-20 chairmanship goals and the importance of reforming multilateralism were discussed. In one of his tweets, Jaishankar said, it was a pleasure to meet the President of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Discussed the UNSC experience, our G20 Presidency goals, and the importance of multilateralism.

 

Jaishankar on US visit

For information, let us tell you that Jaishankar arrived in the US on December 14 and 15 to preside over two high-level ministerial signing programs under India's chairmanship of the United Nations Council. This information has been given by Ruchira Kamboj, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations.

 

Kamboj tweeted, 'Delighted to receive our External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar during the ongoing United Nations Security Council UNSC Presidency in India. The minister will preside over bilateral and important side events as well as signing events at the United Nations.
