Former Indian all-rounder said – Team India is not out of the tournament due to one defeat

Former India all-rounder Yusuf Pathan has said that the Men in Blue (Team India) is not out of the T20 World Cup just because they lost their first match against arch-rivals Pakistan. Pakistan defeated India by 10 wickets at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday and now the Virat Kohli-led side will play their second match against New Zealand on 31 October. At the same time, the Pakistan team defeated the Kiwi team by 5 wickets in their second match.

 

Former cricketer Yusuf Pathan said in the virtual press conference, "I don't think it will be difficult for India to come back because our players are playing good cricket. All India players are hardworking and they know how to handle pressure. We all should keep supporting the team and the players will do well. We are not out of the tournament after a loss. India still has a chance to win the ICC Men's T20 World Cup and I hope we can do well in T20 Will win the World Cup."

Yusuf Pathan, who has scored 4852 runs and 99 wickets in T20 cricket, is all set to feature in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, which is scheduled to take place in the UAE capital from 19 November 2021. Regarding this league, Pathan said, "I am working hard to give some joy to my fans during the Abu Dhabi T10. The tournament is a good opportunity for me to play for my fans." Let us inform you that Yusuf Pathan has been a part of the team that won the T20 World Cup for India in 2007 and played in the final match against Pakistan in the absence of opener Virender Sehwag, as Sehwag was injured.
