However, Jaish-e-Mohammed has also prepared two suicide squads named Afzal Guru Brigade and Afzal Guru Squad after the execution of Parliament attack mastermind Afzal Guru. The Pakistani intelligence agency has completely sidelined all the leaders of Hurriyat sitting in Jammu and Kashmir and Ghulam Kashmir who were supporters of radical Geelani. Geelani died on 2 September.
