
New Delhi, Jan 15 (IANS) The government Thursday said it was "totally committed" to the overall development of the northeastern region.
"Prime Minister Narendra Modi has advised all union ministers to visit the northeastern states to listen to the problems and issues of the northeastern people and ensure that development programmes are implemented on time," Minister of State for Home Affairs Haribhai Parthibhai Chaudhary told a group of school children from Nagaland.
