Halla bol: Congress's performance against inflation and rising oil prices, Rahul-Priyanka absent

Congress has made a ruckus against the central government against the increasing diesel-petrol prices and inflation in the country. Today, Congress workers across the country are protesting against the increased prices at petrol pumps. However, the party high command is keeping a distance from this demonstration. Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi is not participating in this protest. At the same time, former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot is taking part in the protest in Rajasthan. Apart from this, many more senior leaders are also leading the protest in different cities.

 

 

Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee is celebrating this protest as Aakrosh Diwas. The workers of the Delhi Committee are taking out a march on the streets with banners in their hands. Congress Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal raised his voice against the wrong policies of the Center. He attacked the government fiercely.

 

 

Government should bring petrol and diesel under the ambit of GST - Congress

During the protest in Delhi, Congress leader KC Venugopal said that when UPA was in power, the tax on petrol and diesel was Rs 9.20 and now it is Rs 32 in the Modi government. We demand the government to withdraw the excise duty on petrol and diesel. Also, urge to bring petrol and diesel under the purview of GST.

 

 

Inflation and petrol-diesel prices broke the back of the public

Significantly, on June 11, all the big leaders of the party are protesting in different cities. The party said that under this campaign, protests and slogans are being raised against the government across the country. In these, due to the wrong policies of the central government, the prices of petrol and diesel are touching the sky. According to Congress, rising oil prices and inflation have broken the back of the common man.
