Mumbai, March 23 (IANS) Hindi film celebrities like Rishi Kapoor, Madhur Bhandarkar, Lata Mangeshkar and Riteish Deshmukh on Monday paid tributes to freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on their death anniversary.
The stars also thanked the revolutionaries for sacrificing their lives for the nation, calling them “true heroes then and forever”.
Born in September 1907, Bhagat Singh, one of the most influential revolutionaries of the Indian independence movement, was hanged on March 23, 1931 along with Rajguru and Sukhdev in Lahore.
