High alert after the terrorist attack in Israel, fear of violence before Ramadan

Israeli security forces and agencies are on high alert after a Palestinian attacker killed five people in Tel Aviv, Israel. According to reports, there has been a fear of violence on a large scale ahead of the holy Muslim month of Ramzan. This attack is the fifth attack in the last two weeks. So far 11 Israeli civilians have been killed in all these attacks.

Reports suggest that after years, so many Israeli ordinary people have been killed in such a short time. The Israeli military has said it has increased its deployment in the West Bank. Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said in May that Israeli security forces were on their highest level of alert since the Gaza war in 2021. Israeli officials warned in April about an increase in attacks in the month of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, a period during which violence has increased in history.

 

'Israel facing a wave of deadly Arab terrorism'

 

After the attack, Israeli PM Naftali Bennett spoke to senior security officials and condemned the violence. He said in a statement that Israel was facing a wave of deadly Arab terrorism. He has further said that our security forces are working. We will fight terror with perseverance, diligence. They can't move us from here. We will be stronger.

 

What has Palestine said?

 

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas condemned the shooting. He told the media that the killing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians would worsen the situation, especially as we approach the holy month of Ramadan and Christian and Jewish holidays.

 

At the same time, the Islamic organization Hamas has praised the attack. Hamas has described the attack as a heroic operation but has not claimed responsibility for the attack. - Moshir al-Masri, a Hamas official, has said about the attack that it was a reaction to the summit held in the Negev in southern Israel, in which four Arabs The Foreign Minister arrived in Israel for the first time for a diplomatic meeting. The move has angered many Palestinians. People have seen this move of Arab countries as a betrayal.
