Himachal Pradesh: Covid-19 Patients Who Spit On Others Will Be Booked For Attempt To Murder

हिमाचल प्रदेश के पुलिस महानिदेशक सीता राम मरडी ने सोमवार को कहा कि कोई भी कोविद -19 मरीज जो किसी अन्य व्यक्ति पर थूकता है, उस व्यक्ति की मृत्यु के लिए अग्रणी होगा, उसे हत्या के लिए बुक किया जाएगा। वह संभवत: कांगड़ा की एक घटना का जिक्र कर रहे थे, जहां एक 63 वर्षीय महिला - पहले व्यक्ति ने हिमाचल प्रदेश में वायरस होने की सूचना दी थी - जब वे उसे अस्पताल ले जा रहे थे, तब उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों को थूक दिया।

 

मार्डी ने एक वीडियो संदेश में कहा, "यदि कोई कोरोनोवायरस रोगी किसी अन्य व्यक्ति पर थूकता है, तो उस मरीज को भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 307 के तहत हत्या के प्रयास के लिए दर्ज किया जाएगा।" भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 307 में हत्या के लिए दंड निर्धारित किया गया है।

 

पुलिस अधिकारियों ने कहा कि महिला ने स्वास्थ्य कर्मचारियों को थूक दिया था, जो उसे अपने घर से टांडा शहर के एक अस्पताल के आइसोलेशन वार्ड में शिफ्ट कर गए थे। कोरोनोवायरस के लिए सकारात्मक परीक्षण के बाद 20 मार्च को महिला को "जबरन अलग कर दिया गया" और भारतीय दंड संहिता की धारा 188 और 270 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया। कोड की धारा 188 में एक लोक सेवक द्वारा विधिवत रूप से कर्तव्य की अवज्ञा के लिए दंड का प्रावधान है, और धारा 270 में "घातक कार्य जीवन के लिए खतरनाक बीमारी के संक्रमण को फैलाने की संभावना" के लिए दंड के साथ है।

 

मार्डी ने यह भी कहा कि तब्लीगी जमात संप्रदाय के 64 सदस्यों ने पुलिस को सूचना देने के बाद सोमवार को खुद को अलग कर लिया। तब्लीगी जमात के सदस्यों ने हिमाचल प्रदेश पुलिस द्वारा पिछले महीने दिल्ली में एक कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने वाले या कार्रवाई का सामना करने वाले सभी लोगों को आदेश देने के बाद खुद को आत्मग्लानि में डाल दिया। इन 64 में से 12 ने दिल्ली में मार्काज़ में सभा में भाग लिया था, जबकि 52 लोग उन लोगों के संपर्क में आए थे, जिन्होंने इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया था।

 

इस बीच, पुलिस तब्लीगी जमात सदस्य के सभी संपर्कों का पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है, जिन्होंने रविवार को वायरस के लिए सकारात्मक परीक्षण किया था। ट्रेन और परिवहन के अन्य तरीके, जो वह दिल्ली से कांगड़ा के गंगथ गाँव में अपने गृहनगर जाते थे, की पहचान की गई है।

 

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय के अनुसार, हिमाचल प्रदेश में अब तक कम से कम 13 लोग संक्रमित पाए गए हैं, जिनमें से एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई है और दो लोग ठीक हो गए हैं। राष्ट्रव्यापी, 4,421 लोगों ने सकारात्मक परीक्षण किया है, 114 की मृत्यु हो गई है और 325 ठीक हो गए हैं।
