How 1 crore corona patients became in India: Started in Kerala, 1.98 lakh patients were found in lockdown, speed increased by 725%

The number of corona patients in the country has crossed 10 million. The first infected was found in Kerala on 30 January. Since then, this figure reached one to one crore within 324 days. So far, over 1.45 lakh people have lost their lives due to infection. However, it is a matter of relief that the pace of recovery of corona patients in the country is also very fast. So far, 95.41% ie more than 95 lakh people have been recovered. 3.05 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.

 

Corona Peak arrived in September

There were two to five thousand new cases in the country every day till April and May. It increased from five to twenty thousand in June. Every day 20 to 57 thousand people started getting infected in July. In August, this figure increased to between 60 and 75 thousand. Up to 97 thousand cases a day were reported in September. On 17 September, Corona had a peak in the country. Meaning then most people have been found infected.

 

On September 17, there were 10.17 lakh active patients in the country. Which is the highest ever. Active patients means patients who are being treated. Since then the active case has continued to decline. Now, only 3.05 lakh patients are being treated in the country. The rest have either been cured or have died.

 

Corona increased in this country

 

On January 30, a 20-year-old female corona returned from Wuhan, China, was found infected. This was the first case in the country.

As of 03 February, there were three new cases in Kerala. All these people had returned from traveling abroad.

As of March 3, there were a total of six case reports in the country.

On March 04, the report of 14 members of an Italian tourist group came out positive.

On March 12, a 76-year-old corona patient returned from Saudi Arabia died. This was the first death in the country from infection.

On 22 March, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a Janata curfew.

On 24 March, the Prime Minister announced a 21-day lockdown. This lockdown took effect from 25 March.

On 14 April this lockdown was extended to 3 May. It was then extended twice more.

Lockdown increased from 3 May to 17 May and again from 17 to 31 May.

The lockdown waiver started on 1 June and till now the entire country has been almost completely opened.

 

Corona gained speed as exemption from lockdown

From March 25 to May 31, 1.98 lakh people in the country were found infected with corona. Corona accelerated as soon as the lockdown was exempted. New cases started coming at a speed of 725%. By 16 July, the number of infected reached 1 million. In the next 21 days, 10 million to 20 lakh patients became. It took just 11 days to have the fastest 40 to 50 lakh cases.

 

27% corona patients in 11 cities

The maximum impact of the infection is in 11 cities including the capital Delhi, Mumbai. 27% of the country's corona patients are in these cities. In these cities, most people have lost their lives. These include five cities in Maharashtra and two in West Bengal. Not a single city in the country's largest state UP is included in this list.

 

16 crore people tested, 6.25% of them found infected

So far, 16 crore people have been screened in the country. That means 11% of the country's population has been tested. Of these, 6.25% reported positive. Maharashtra has the highest rate of meeting patients. The positivity rate here is 15.8%. Apart from this, corona patients are getting 13.1% in Goa, 11.4% in Chandigarh, 10% in Nagaland, 9.7% in Kerala.

Uttar Pradesh is at the forefront of testing. 2.2 crore people have been screened here.

The highest 12% active patients are in Himachal Pradesh.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli are at the forefront of recovery. So far 98.8% of people have been cured here. In Andhra Pradesh, 98.7% of people have recovered.

Punjab is ahead in the death rate. So far, 3.2% of the patients have died. 2.6% of patients have died in Maharashtra.
