
The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has today declared the annual examination results for Class 10 (Madhyamik) for the year 2026. Approximately 9.71 lakh students participated in this examination and were eagerly awaiting their results. Students can now visit the Board’s official website to check their outcomes.
This year, a total of 86.83% of students have successfully cleared the examination. The West Bengal Madhyamik Examination results for 2026 have witnessed a stellar performance. Abhirup Bhadra has secured the first position in the Class 10 examination by topping the state with 99.71% marks, while the Kalimpong district has emerged as the top-performing district in this year’s results.
The Board examinations were conducted between February 2 and February 12, 2026, across more than 2,600 examination centers throughout the state. The online marksheet will display details such as the student’s name, roll number, registration number, subject-wise marks, grades, total marks, and pass/fail status.
What are the Passing Marks?
To pass the Madhyamik examination, students are required to secure a minimum aggregate of 34 percent marks. This means they must obtain at least 272 marks out of a total of 800. Additionally, securing individual passing marks in each specific subject is also mandatory. Students who fail in certain subjects will be given an opportunity to appear for the compartment examination subsequently conducted by the Board.
Results from Previous Years
Last year, the overall pass percentage for the Madhyamik examination stood at 86.56%, and the results were released on May 2. In 2024, the overall pass percentage recorded was 83.61%.

Upon submission, your result will appear on the screen.
