IAS PCS Free Coaching: The Uttar Pradesh government is going to provide free coaching for IAS and PCS to those youths. Those who are not able to prepare for the exam due to their financial condition. For this Uttar Pradesh, Social Welfare Department is going to start free coaching for SC, ST, and OBC candidates. Candidates have to clear a test of 100 marks to get free coaching. Candidates will be selected based on merit in the Joint Entrance Examination. For women candidates, only Adarsh Pre-Examination Training Center Aliganj, Lucknow, and IAS, PCS coaching facility is available in Hapur.
Examination at the headquarters of 18 divisions
Interested candidates for free coaching of IAS PCS can apply online till 30 November on the website of the Social Welfare Department socialwelfareup.upsdc.gov.in. On December 18, there will be an examination for this at the headquarters of all the 18 divisions of the state. Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Agra and Aligarh centers have 100 seats each for SC, ST, and OBC candidates. The classes are likely to start in January after the Joint Entrance Examination is held.
Candidates will get training for 10 months.
Eligibility for IAS PCS Free Coaching
SC/ST and OBC students will get the benefit of free coaching. The family income of the candidate should be Rs 6 lakh per annum. Along with this, the age of the candidate must be 21 years as on 01 July 2023. However, for this entrance examination, the maximum age prescribed by the Union Public Service Commission and the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for the reserved category will be valid. The income certificate of the candidate should not be more than three years old. Only two chances will be given to the candidate for free coaching for the preparation for the IAS PCS exam.
Students will get these facilities
Free coaching will be given to eligible male and female candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes for IAS Preliminary Examination 2023 and PCS Preliminary Examination 2023. Rooms, library, and food facilities will be provided free of cost to the candidates for their stay in the hostel.
