Jaipur CNG Tanker Blast: The death toll in the accident rose to 14, 13 died in SMS and one killed in Jaipuria

Two more people died on Saturday in the LPG tanker blast accident in Jaipur. The death toll in the accident has now risen to 14. On Friday, 5 people were burnt alive on the spot in the accident on Ajmer Road in Jaipur. At the same time, 7 people died during treatment at Sawai Mansingh Hospital.

 

35 people who were burnt in the accident near Delhi Public School are still admitted to the hospital. 25 people have suffered up to 75 percent burns in this accident. Many bodies that reached Sawai Mansingh Hospital have not been identified yet. Actually, on Friday morning, Bharat Petroleum's tanker was coming from Ajmer to Jaipur. At around 5.44 minutes, the tanker took a U-turn in front of Delhi Public School. During this, a truck going from Jaipur to Ajmer collided with it.

18 tons of gas leaked

GAIL India Limited's DGM (Fire and Safety) Sushant Kumar Singh said that due to the collision, 5 nozzles of the tanker broke, and 18 tons (180 quintals) of gas leaked. This caused such a huge explosion that the whole area turned into a ball of fire. About 200 meters away from the tanker where the blast took place, another tanker filled with LPG was also about 200 meters away. Thankfully, it did not catch fire.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the Jaipur fire incident. He has announced financial assistance of two lakh rupees to the families of those who died in this accident. Also, 50 thousand rupees will be given to the families of the injured. CM Bhajan Lal has announced financial assistance of five lakh rupees each to the families of the deceased and one lakh rupees to the injured. In this way, the families of the deceased in this fire incident will get seven lakh rupees each. The injured will get one lakh fifty thousand rupees.
