What did the Indian team achieve after traveling 3,400 km? 'Rohit Brigade' did not get anything in two matches

The Indian team will start its campaign in the World Cup 2023 against Australia on October 8 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Before this, the Indian team led by Rohit Sharma had to participate in two practice matches.

 

India was to play their first warm-up match against England in Guwahati last week, but it was canceled due to rain. Then on Tuesday, India had to play its second practice match against the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram. This match was also washed out due to rain.

 

There is no use in a long journey

The Indian team will now enter the World Cup without playing a single warm-up match. The Indian team traveled about 3400 km for these two practice matches and could not play the match. This journey was of no use to the Indian team. Couldn't get any benefit from it.

 

Rain hits practice matches

By the way, the warm matches before the World Cup 2023 were also affected by rain. Three matches were canceled due to rain and three were rain-affected. The teams and players were very disappointed by this. Both the matches in the Netherlands could not be played due to rain.

 

Status of World Cup matches

According to the Meteorological Department, sunshine is expected in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Dharamshala. The first three matches of the World Cup 2023 are to be held at these venues. The opening match of the tournament between New Zealand and England will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

 

The match between Pakistan and Netherlands will be held in Hyderabad while the clash between Afghanistan and Bangladesh will be held in Dharamsala. Successful organization of these three matches is expected.
