The Supreme Court said in the order, "All the cases under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 should be withdrawn against the workers who were allegedly violated during the lockdown."
The court has asked the Center and the states to prepare a list for identifying migrant laborers in a systematic manner. The court has also asked the governments to give relief to the workers on the issue of employment by skill mapping.
In the last days of March, the central government implemented a nationwide lockdown to prevent the corona virus, which was increased to 30 June.
