In Punjab, there will be a protest like a farmer's movement against the Agneepath scheme! resolution to be passed in the assembly

The protest against the Agneepath scheme in Punjab is not taking its name to stop. Now the Punjab government is also going to bring an all-party resolution against the plan of the central government. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann made a promise in this regard in the ongoing session of the Punjab Legislative Assembly on Tuesday. This resolution was demanded by Congress MLA Pratap Bajwa. On the other hand, BJP MLA Ashwani Sharma opposed it.

 

Discussion on deleting the song of Moosewala

 

BJP MLA Sharma said that the House is being misled on this issue. After this, there was a heated debate among the members of the House. Sidhu Musewala's SYL song was also discussed in the House. During Zero Hour, Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira demanded a condemnation of the removal of the song from YouTube on the complaint of the BJP. On this, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that he is also in favor of Freedom of Speech. During this, Education Minister Meet Hare informed the House that a resolution would be brought to change the nature and character of Chandigarh's Panjab University.

 

There have been protests across the country

 

It is worth mentioning that under the Agneepath scheme, there is a plan to recruit Agniveers in the army for 4 years. There have been massive protests across the country against this. In this regard, incidents of vandalism and arson in trains have also come to the fore in many states including Bihar. At the same time, Congress is protesting against this plan at Jantar Mantar. Congress is demanding the withdrawal of this scheme. At the same time, it has been made clear by the Ministry of Defense and the government that the Agneepath scheme will not be rolled back.
