On the other hand, BJP MLA Ashwani Sharma opposed it.

In this regard, incidents of vandalism and arson in trains have also come to the fore in many states including Bihar. At the same time, Congress is protesting against this plan at Jantar Mantar. Congress is demanding the withdrawal of this scheme. At the same time, it has been made clear by the Ministry of Defense and the government that the Agneepath scheme will not be rolled back.
