IND vs AUS Pitch Report: After the ODI World Cup, it is the turn of T-20 cricket. Team India will face Australia in the first T20 International match of the five-match series. Under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav, India's young brigade will take the field with the intention of settling the score with the Kangaroo team for the defeat in the World Cup final.
How does the pitch of Visakhapatnam play?
The first match of the five-match T20 International series between India and Australia (IND vs AUS) will be played at the YS Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. This ground is considered a heaven for batsmen. In Visakhapatnam, it rains a lot of fours and sixes and a lot of runs are scored. That means it is certain that there will be a flood of runs in the first T20 between India and Australia.
What do the statistics say?'
Visakhapatnam has so far hosted a total of 9 T20 International matches, out of which the team batting first has won 3. At the same time, the team chasing runs has taken the field in six matches. That means, winning the toss and chasing on this ground seems to be a more profitable deal.
Who will get the chance, Ruturaj or Yashasvi?
In the first T20 match against Australia, the big question before captain Suryakumar Yadav will be who should be fielded as the opening pair. It is considered certain that Ishan Kishan will play, but it will be interesting to see who among Ruturaj and Yashasvi Jaiswal will get the chance.
Considering the experience, the team management can go with Ruturaj in the first match. The responsibility of number three will be on the shoulders of Tilak Verma, while captain Suryakumar Yadav himself can be at number four. At the same time, the responsibility of creating a blast in the last overs will be on Rinku and Shivam Dubey.
Akshar Patel will make a comeback
Akshar Patel, who missed the World Cup 2023 due to injury, is considered certain to return in the first T20 against Australia. Along with Akshar, Washington Sundar may also get a place in the playing eleven. Sundar was also away from international cricket for a long time due to injury.
