IND vs BAN: Virat Kohli became selfish for his century? KL Rahul was refusing to run one run, and the conversation on the field was revealed

Virat Kohli Century KL Rahul: Virat Kohli is known as a team man. Kohli thinks more about helping the team win than his achievements. Who knows, Virat has proved this fact many times. However, a different scene was seen on Thursday night in the ICC World Cup 2023, where King Kohli appeared desperate to complete his century.

Fellow batsman KL Rahul also contributed to completing Virat's century and kept Kohli on strike as much as possible. Meanwhile, Rahul has revealed the conversation he had with Virat in the middle of the field for the sake of scoring a century.

Umpire's contribution to Kohli's century

Virat Kohli was present at the crease after scoring 97 runs and he needed 3 runs for his century. However, the Indian team was very close to the target and only 2 runs were left to win. Nasum bowled the first ball of the 42nd over on the leg side, which was seen going outside the stump. However, despite this, the umpire did not declare the ball wide, while the replays clearly showed that the ball had neither touched Virat's bat nor his pad.

Even the fans and the Indian camp could not believe this decision of the umpire. Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav were seen laughing at the umpire's decision in the dressing room. After this, Virat completed the 48th century of his ODI career by hitting a six in the same over.

First century in the World Cup

Virat Kohli scored his first century while chasing runs in the 50-over World Cup. Against Bangladesh, Virat appeared in excellent form from the beginning and did not spare any bowlers. Kohli batted brilliantly and played an unbeaten inning of 103 runs in 97 balls and led Team India to victory by hitting a six.
