Dhruv is the first Indian wicketkeeper in the last 22 years to be selected Man of the Match in the debut series. Before Dhruv, Ajay Ratra had done this feat for India in the year 2002. Ajay won the Man of the Match award in the fourth Test match of his debut series against West Indies.
