History shows that Rohit's team can win the series after losing the first Test, but the current conditions have made it difficult for the team. The situation has become complicated especially after Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul were out of the team for the second Test due to injury. Virat Kohli is already not present in the team. There is also an option to go with four spinners
The team management will have to puzzle over the selection for the second Test, which is going to start on February 2 in Visakhapatnam. Rajat Patidar can come in place of Rahul. It is also possible that the Indian team may go with one pacer and four spinners like England. Kuldeep can be included in the team in place of Siraj. Also, Washington Sundar may get a chance. Like Jadeja, left-arm spinner Saurabh Kumar is also in the race.
Kumble advocated for Kuldeep
Another option for selection could be to include Patidar in place of Rahul and Kuldeep in place of Jadeja. Anil Kumble advocates the inclusion of Kuldeep Yadav in the team.
