India beat Afghanistan in World Cup warm-up

Adelaide, Feb 10 (IANS) India beat Afghanistan by 153 runs in their second warm-up game for the ICC World Cup at the Adelaide Oval here Tuesday.

Rohit Sharma's 150 off 122 balls propelled India to 364 for five. Ajinkya Rahane (88 not out) and Suresh Raina (75) also played solidly, giving great support to the marauding Rohit.

In reply, Afghanistan managed to reach 211 for eight in their 50 overs. Mohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja were the pick of the Indian bowlers taking two wickets each.
