Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has announced the promotion of fifth-eighth and 10th-grade students to the next class without examination due to the increasing transition of Corona in Punjab. As of now, the government has not taken any decision regarding the 12th exams. Soon the government will decide on this matter.

 

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh Thursday held a review meeting with high officials on the condition of Corona in the state. The Chief Minister said that all educational institutions in the state have already been ordered to be closed by 30 April. Nevertheless, it is necessary to cancel the examinations keeping in mind the safety of the students of the age group of 11 to 20 who are preparing for the exam.

 

Let us know that the students of the fifth grade have done the examinations in four subjects. There was only one subject test left. Now the Punjab State Education Board will declare the result based on the marks obtained in the four subject examinations. At the same time, the examination results of eighth and 10th will be declared based on marks obtained in pre-board examination and internal assessment.

 

63 deaths from Corona, 3329 new cases

In Punjab, 63 people died due to an infection on Wednesday. 3329 new cases have also been reported. The condition of 51 infected remains critical, who have been placed on ventilators. So far 7672 infected people have died in the state.

 

According to the Health Department, on Wednesday, 11 in Amritsar, 3 in Bathinda, 4 in Fazilka, 2 in Gurdaspur, 4 in Hoshiarpur, 7 in Jalandhar, 3 in Kapurthala, 6 in Ludhiana, 2 in Moga, 3 in Mohali, 2 in Pathankot, 6 killed in Patiala, 2 in Sangrur, 3 in Nawanshahar and 2 in Tarn Taran, 1-1 infected died in Ferozepur, Muktsar, Barnala.

 

So far, the report of 282505 people in the state has been positive. 246583 infected have been cured. The number of active cases reached 28250. Oxygen support is placed on 374 infected people having trouble breathing.
