India summons High Commissioner on Singapore PM's statement of 'Nehru's India'

According to the newspaper, Lee did not cite any specific sources for his claim about Indian lawmakers, but he is believed to have said this based on a 2019 report by the Association of Democratic Reforms, which found that Out of 539 candidates who won the general elections, 233 MPs have criminal charges.
