The Ethics Committee of Parliament (Lok Sabha Ethics Committee) has sought information about the parliamentary login and location of TMC MP Mahua Moitra from the IT Ministry and the Home Ministry. The Ethics Committee has directed us to submit the report in November. Let us tell you that TMC MP Mahua Moitra's problems in asking questions for taking money are increasing continuously. On Thursday, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey and Supreme Court lawyer Jai Dehadrai, who accused Mahua Moitra, appeared before the Ethics Committee of Parliament.
Let us tell you that to ask questions in Parliament, MPs can ask questions through 'Members Portal' or with the help of printed forms from the Parliamentary Information Office. MPs are given login passwords only to ask questions on this member portal.
Why did the Ethics Committee ask for login and location?
Let us tell you that businessman Darshan Hiranandani had admitted in his affidavit that he had the parliamentary login and password of Mahua Moitra. He used to post questions on the Parliament account with the help of Mahua Moitra's login password. Darshan Hiranandani admitted that he had asked questions targeting the Adani Group. However, Mahua Moitra claimed that this affidavit was taken by putting pressure on Darshan Hiranandani. Darshan Hiranandani recently rejected Mahua Moitra's claim in a TV interview. Hiranandani said that he did not give the affidavit under anyone's pressure, but on his instructions, this affidavit was drafted by the lawyer and was sent to CBI. Now Darshan wants to know the veracity of Hiranandani's claim by taking login and location information from the IT Ministry and Home Ministry.
what is the whole matter?
BJP MP Nishikant Dubey had accused Mahua Moitra that the TMC MP took a bribe from Hiranandani Group CEO Darshan Hiranandani and asked questions in Parliament. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has made these allegations based on the complaint of Supreme Court lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai. After Nishikant Dubey's complaint, the Lok Sabha Speaker sent the matter of asking targeted questions in Parliament for taking money to the Ethics Committee of Parliament. On Thursday, BJP MP Dubey and lawyer Jai Anant Dehadrai appeared before the Ethics Committee and presented their views. Now soon TMC MP Mahua Moitra may also appear before the Ethics Committee.
