Indian Railways has clearly said that passengers should not carry any flammable material with them while traveling on the train. For this, the Railways have also issued a list of banned products. If a passenger violates these rules, he may also have to face jail. Railways have said in a tweet that if passengers travel in the train with firecrackers, petrol-diesel, or other inflammable substances, then it will be considered a punishable offense.

Railways have said that carrying firecrackers on the train is like putting the lives of passengers at risk and strict action will be taken against those who do so. Apart from this, carrying stoves and gas on the train has also been banned. Railways have directed that no passenger should carry items like firecrackers, gas cylinders, and gunpowder in the train compartment or railway premises or light cigarettes in the compartment or premises.
