The five-day-long Deepotsav is going to start in the country on October 22. In such a situation, the crowd of people has increased at the railway stations these days. But if you are going to travel with your family and have more luggage, then definitely read this news. Because Indian Railways has made many new rules keeping in view the safety of the passengers. In this, strictness is being taken especially regarding the festival of Deepawali. Because during this time the crowd in the trains has increased a lot.

Indian Railways has clearly said that passengers should not carry any flammable material with them while traveling on the train. For this, the Railways have also issued a list of banned products. If a passenger violates these rules, he may also have to face jail. Railways have said in a tweet that if passengers travel in the train with firecrackers, petrol-diesel, or other inflammable substances, then it will be considered a punishable offense.

Railways have said that carrying firecrackers on the train is like putting the lives of passengers at risk and strict action will be taken against those who do so. Apart from this, carrying stoves and gas on the train has also been banned. Railways have directed that no passenger should carry items like firecrackers, gas cylinders, and gunpowder in the train compartment or railway premises or light cigarettes in the compartment or premises. Often some passengers cook food by burning stoves on railway premises. On this, the Railways has clearly said that it is forbidden to burn gas or stove in the railway premises. Traveling with flammable materials like kerosene and petrol has also been banned on the train.

The Railways has clarified that under sections 164 and 165 of the Railways Act 1989, if a passenger is found traveling in a train with inflammable substances such as firecrackers, stoves, gas, and petrol, then he can be fined Rs 1,000.
