new Delhi. According to new research conducted in India, there are 11 types of new coronaviruses worldwide, but the cause of the epidemic is the same form of corona which has infected the lungs of humans and killed more than two lakh people. This research has been done by scientists of National Institute of Biomedical Genomics, West Bengal. After research on 3600 different viruses, researchers have reported that infection from the same coronavirus spread worldwide from Wuhan and gradually evolved to 10 more variants. The original form of the new coronavirus is named A2a.

Research done on 3600 coronaviruses

According to research published in ICMR's Indian Journal of Medical Research, A2a dominates the remaining 10 types of corona and this strain of the virus is responsible for the epidemic. Researchers have released the results after research on 3600 coronaviruses. The research has been carried out from December 2019 to April 6, 2020.

Why A2a Type is Dangerous

According to the researchers, the faster the corona reaches the body, the faster it will increase its number in the body and the patient's condition will be fragile. This is the biggest threat in A2a type. In this strain, amino acids are converted from aspartic acid to glycine. While other types of new coronaviruses contain only aspartic acid and do not change. Therefore A2a is more dangerous.

A2a 45% present in India

According to research, in some countries the penetration of A2a virus can be up to 80%, but in India it is 45%. Researcher Partha Mazumdar says that vaccines are being prepared around the world to protect against coronaviruses, but the biggest battle has to be fought against A2a strains.

The stronger the form of corona, the faster the infection will spread

Researchers investigated RNA of coronaviruses. The report revealed that human lungs release ACE2 protein from their surface, but the spike protein originating from the corona first binds to ACE2 and then the second protein tries to enter the lung cells. The stronger the corona form, the more quickly it will connect with human protein and reach the lungs.
