India-Pakistan: 'Stay out of our internal matter', India slams OIC Secretary General's visit to PoK

India has strongly objected to the visit of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Hisen Brahim Taha to Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POK). The Ministry of External Affairs has strongly condemned the visit of OIC Secretary General Hisen Brahim Taha to PoK. Along with this, India has also criticized the comments made by Hissen Brahim Taha during his visit to Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Ministry of External Affairs opposes OIC Secretary General's visit to PoK

The Ministry of External Affairs said that India strongly condemns the comments made by Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary-General Hissen Brahim Taha regarding Jammu and Kashmir during his visit to PoK. The Ministry of External Affairs said that the OIC has no jurisdiction in matters relating to Jammu and Kashmir, an integral and inalienable part of India. Any attempt by the OIC to interfere and meddle in the internal affairs of India is unacceptable.

 

Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement

The official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, Arindam Bagchi, said the OIC has already lost its credibility by adopting a sectarian, partisan and factually incorrect approach. Its general secretary has unfortunately become the mouthpiece of Pakistan. We hope that he will desist from becoming a partner in fulfilling Pakistan's nefarious agenda of promoting cross-border terrorism in India, especially in Jammu and Kashmir.

A delegation was also present along with OIC Secretary General Hisen Brahim Taha. After this India has registered its protest regarding the visit of the Secretary General of OIC.
