Tanmay Bhat has broken his silence on the controversy surrounding fellow comedian Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent'. Tanmay is said to be Samay Raina's mentor. Last month, YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia had to face court cases and criticism after he made lewd comments on Samay Raina's show.

 

Why is he not taking Samay's stand?

 

Tanmay often makes YouTube videos and reacts to memes being made about him. Recently, he shared a video, in which a user asked him why he is not taking Samay Raina's side in the Ranveer Allahbadia case. To this, Tanmay replied, 'Why are these people not taking a stand on whatever is happening?' His partner Rohan Joshi was also present on the panel. Tanmay said, 'I am doing my job here, what more support do you need?'

 

Kaustubh called Tanmay the Guru of Samay

 

Comedian Kaustubh called Tanmay the so-called Guru of Samay and jokingly said, 'I am talking to you. You were his (Samay's) godfather.' Pushesh Sharma, who was part of the panel, said that 'he was expecting Tanmay to say that the son would have to go through his father first.' After this, Tanmay talked about his controversy in the year 2015 which happened with Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.

'India's Got Latent' show is of Samay Raina. This show is streamed on YouTube channel. Contestants come into the show and show their abilities. After this, the judges present there give them marks. The judges include comedians, content creators, and actors. In this show, Ranveer Allahbadia made a rude statement about the parents of a contestant. After this, the people watching the show got angry. They filed cases against those participating in the show. Ranveer Allahbadia had to apologize to everyone, while Samay Raina deleted all the episodes of the show.
