'Water and blood cannot flow together', Indian delegations stressed unity against terror; Strong message to Pakistan.

Indian delegations abroad met leaders of several countries on Monday and reiterated India's resolve to fight terrorism. They stressed that terrorism must be eradicated in the interest of humanity.

 

In London, the delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad met Indo-Pacific Minister Catherine West. Catherine told them that Britain is with India in its efforts to fight terrorism. The Indian High Commission in London said that the delegation reiterated India's resolve to deal with terrorism on its own.

 

'Terrorism a threat to all countries'

 

The delegation also stressed that terrorism remains a threat to all countries. Therefore, the world needs to eradicate this crisis in the interest of humanity. Catherine West condemned the Pahalgam terror attacks and appreciated India's contribution to stability in the Indo-Pacific region. After this closed-door meeting, the delegation held in-depth discussions with representatives of some leading UK-based think tanks at India House.

 

Delegation gives a message of 'zero tolerance' towards terrorism.

 

The delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Jai Panda in Algeria on Monday completed its visit to four countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria) and gave the message of 'zero tolerance' towards terrorism.

 

Members of the delegation met Chairman of Algerian Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs Mohammed Khoune on Sunday night. Broad topics of mutual interest and India's commitment to combat terrorism in all its forms were discussed, Panda posted on X.

The parliamentary delegation led by JDU MP Sanjay Kumar Jha in Malaysia emphasized India's firmness against terrorism and said that water and blood cannot flow together. The delegation met representatives of various parties and apprised them of India's approach and national resolve against terrorism. The delegation led by NCP (SP) MP Supriya Sule held useful discussions with members of Egypt's Senate and House of Representatives on Monday.

 

Delegation meets Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Alberes.

The Senate reaffirmed solidarity with India and reiterated the importance attached to the close strategic partnership. A parliamentary delegation led by DMK MP Kanimori met Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Alberes in Madrid. During this, Alberes expressed his clear support for India's efforts to combat terrorism. The delegation apprised Alberes of India's position and discussed India's efforts to combat terrorism.

 

The delegation led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde in Liberia expressed India's resolve to fight all forms of terrorism during an interaction with the Indian community. A parliamentary delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has reached Brazil on the fourth leg of its five-nation visit. Tejasvi Surya, who was part of the delegation, wrote on X, "Our delegation has reached Brazil after a full day's visit. The last week was busy but very useful. Looking forward to the next two days of talks here."
