Peace talks are going on in Istanbul, Turkey to try to stop the war between Ukraine and Russia, but New Delhi remains the center of its entire diplomatic preparations. In the last 10 days, foreign ministers and security advisors of 7 countries have come to India. There is a full force to take India along.

Leaders from America, Britain, Germany, Australia, and even Greece have appeared in India for this. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in New Delhi on Thursday. He will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. This visit of the Russian Foreign Minister after Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is important in deciding the direction of India's next diplomatic move. Indian diplomacy, known as the Jaishankar formula, focuses on striking a balance between international forces. Indian support is essential for next week's G-7 meeting.

What are the terms of the Jaishankar formula?

An immediate ceasefire is the first condition for a peaceful resolution of the Russia-Ukraine war.

This includes not only ceasefire at the military level but also cyber attacks, information warfare, attacks on statements.

International laws and the UN Charter are fully respected, and any solution is within its bounds.

The territorial integrity and sovereignty of every nation should be respected.

The democratic and human rights of every country should be respected at all costs and their economic interests should also be protected.

Adhering to the principles of non-alignment, not sacrificing interests

India has also made it clear that it will follow its principles of non-alignment but will not give up its interests. New Delhi's stand is quite clear because of the opposition to India's efforts to get oil from Russia.
