Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with BJP officials across the country on August 17. In this, there will be a discussion on membership campaigns and strengthening the party at the grassroots level. Along with Prime Minister Modi, Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and the party's national president JP Nadda will also be present in the meeting. After the meeting, the party's membership campaign can start in September.

After that, the process of organizational elections of the party will start in the states and the new national president will be elected in January. According to party sources, JP Nadda can continue to hold the charge of national president till the organizational elections are completed.

Detailed discussion on organizational changes

This time the party does not want to make a hasty decision by appointing an executive president and is in favor of bringing the national president through the process of organization elections. It is believed that in the meeting of senior BJP leaders with RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale and BJP in-charge Arun Kumar, there was a detailed discussion on organizational changes.

Why did the results not come good in the Lok Sabha elections?

Amit Shah, JP Nadda, as well as organization general secretary BL Santosh, were also present in the meeting held at Rajnath Singh's house on Sunday. The meeting of senior RSS and BJP leaders is being considered important before the coordination meeting of the heads of RSS-affiliated organizations in Kerala from 31 August to 2 September. The lack of coordination between RSS and BJP is considered a major reason behind not getting the expected results in the Lok Sabha elections. Now the emphasis is being laid on coordination from both BJP and RSS.
