India's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar are on a 5-day visit to the US for 2+2 talks. The two ministers met separately on Monday with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Secretary of State Antony Blinken. During this, many issues with defense cooperation were discussed.
First Rajnath Singh met Lloyd Austin in Washington. During this, the two ministers discussed increasing cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region and strengthening the defense partnership. Austin also assured full help to India regarding the interference being made by China in the Indian Pacific Ocean.
Rajnath Singh also met US President Joe Biden at the White House.

On the other hand, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also met US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. During this, there was a discussion on working together on many issues like import-export, global security, climate change, and corona of both the countries.
These 2+2 talks have been done under the Quad (QUAD) group. Blinken described the India-US 2+2 dialogue as a turning point in global affairs.

Singh invited American companies to visit India for defense, aerospace, and Make for India World programs. Antoine Blinken: All countries should put pressure on Putin to end the war. Earlier relations with India were good for Russia, but now we are capable and willing to have relations with India.
