Shahbaz Sharif has become the 23rd Prime Minister of Pakistan. Shahbaz was administered the oath by Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani. Surprisingly, President Arif Alvi did not come to administer the oath to him. The ceremony also took place in the President's House itself. Alvi is a special friend of Imran. On the other hand, as soon as Shahbaz came out of Parliament after being elected as the Prime Minister, his niece Maryam Nawaz hugged him and burst into tears. Shahbaz encouraged him by patting his back. Maryam is the elder brother of Shahbaz and the daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. During the era of Imran Khan, he had to face a lot of trouble.

Modi congratulated

Prime Minister Modi congratulated Shahbaz Sharif through a social media post. Said- Best wishes to you on becoming the Prime Minister of Pakistan. India expects you to work for peace and stability by making this region terrorism free. Through this, we will be able to meet the challenges and give a better life to our citizens.

Before voting in Parliament, all the MPs of Imran Khan's party (PTI) and Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri resigned. The special thing is that these resignations have not yet reached the Speaker. So technically this move would be called a boycott from Parliament. PM's candidate Shah Mehmood Qureshi withdrew from Imran's party. In his first speech in Parliament after being elected Prime Minister, Shahbaz described China as a loyal friend. Take a jibe at Imran for putting the Kashmir issue on hold.

7 months for election

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has said that it needs at least 7 months to conduct the elections. The commission said- we will start preparations now, but soon after that it will start raining. Therefore, it is not possible to hold elections before November-December.

After Imran's ouster from power, a big change can be seen in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). According to media reports, PCB chairman and Imran Khan's friend Rameez Raja can also leave his post. Rameez Raja may announce his resignation after a meeting with the International Cricket Council (ICC) in Dubai.
