Recalling the turmoil in the Indian camp at that time, veteran India pacer Ishant Sharma has revealed how things had changed after the then India head coach Ravi Shastri attended the book launch.
While talking to Jatin Sapru, Ishant Sharma recalled an incident in the dressing room where Shastri was finding it difficult to even speak.
Recalling the incident, Ishant Sharma said, "We were all very scared at that time. I remember, Ravi Bhai was in the dressing room during the Oval Test and he was not able to speak properly. The launch of his book And we thought he had caught a cold. Because things were normal in England at that time. He also looked normal, it was just that he was not able to talk properly. Bharat Arun looked fine and even That R Sridhar was also completely fine. Then we came to know through a rapid antigen test that all three were positive. We were scared at that time."
