Intercontinental Cup Football: India's match with Vanuatu in Intercontinental Cup football, eyes on final ticket

The Indian team will take on Vanuatu in the four-nation Intercontinental Cup football on Monday but will be eyeing a place in the final of the tournament. India beat Mongolia 2-0 in their first match on Friday. At the same time, Vanuatu was defeated 1-3 by Lebanon. If the Indian team wins this match, then it will make it to the finals.

 

Lebanon is at the forefront of other teams reaching the final. Lebanon will face Mongolia in the first match of the day. However, Indian star player Sunil Chhetri could not score against Mongolia. India's head coach Igor Stimac said I am very impressed with the players, the way they have practiced. Meanwhile, the Vanuatu team is finding it difficult to adjust to the hot weather in Bhubaneswar.
