Foreign affairs expert Professor Shirin Kuril says that unless the power in Afghanistan is elected through constitutional means through elections, then there are bound to be big challenges for the countries with a democratic system in the world. He says that for India, the capture of the Taliban is in the whole of Afghanistan is very worrying not only from the business point of view but also from the strategic point of view. If this is not possible, then India does not seem to be getting any return for whatever it has invested so far. Professor Kuril says this return is not necessarily under the financial system. This return is also met in many other ways in strategic matters. Now that the power is with the Taliban, in a way, the ball is in their court, how they convert their power into a democratic system and how the whole world adopts them.

India built hospitals in many cities of Afghanistan like Badarkhashan, Kandahar, Khost, Kunar, and Nuristan.
