Ranchi Violence: Jharkhand's Health Minister and senior Congress leader Banna Gupta have given a big statement regarding the Ranchi violence. He has claimed that violence in his state has been instigated by people coming from other states and he has strong information about it. He has said that people coming from outside have done the work of spreading tension and spoiling the atmosphere in Jharkhand. He warned that such people would never be spared. Banna said that the truth will come out in the police investigation.
Significantly, after the violence, Banna Gupta is the first such leader and minister who has openly admitted that people from outside instigated violence here.
State DGP had given input on chaos
It is worth noting that Jharkhand Governor Ramesh Bais had summoned Director General of Police (DGP) Neeraj Sinha and other senior officials to the Raj Bhavan in connection with the violence in Ranchi on Monday. During this, DGP Sinha admitted in front of him that the Intelligence Department (IB) had given him the input of 150 people to spread chaos in Ranchi. Significantly, despite this, the police did not become alert and violence broke out there.
Police are investigating
On IB's input case, Banna Gupta said that I am not aware of it. Police are investigating Ranchi's violence. The police have done the work of stopping the violence, otherwise, a big incident could have happened.
Let us inform you that on June 4, a dozen people had come from Saharanpur in Ranchi, who were inciting Muslim youth to commit violence. Because of this, violence broke out there. According to sources, on the day of violence, 80-90 youths wearing caps were standing in a street when the crowd was moving forward raising slogans. They were being given masks and handkerchiefs to cover their faces. These young boys had entered the crowd of people protesting. After that, the demonstration turned into violence. These youths had thrown stones at the police from the crowd. People who incited youth to violence and gave masks had come from outside.
