Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) is counted among the best captains in the world. Under the captaincy of Dhoni, CSK has won the IPL title five times. Last year, Dhoni's CSK won the IPL title by defeating Gujarat Titans.

Now at the age of 42, Dhoni (MS Dhoni) is all set to captain CSK in IPL 2024. Meanwhile, like every season, this time too the news of Mahi's retirement has started doing the rounds. In this episode, former South African captain AB De Villiers gave his reaction.

This is Dhoni's last IPL season? AB De Villiers gave a big statement

Every year there is news about the retirement of CSK captain MS Dhoni in IPL, but Mahi refutes these rumors every time and comes to play the tournament. In this episode, South African legend AB De Villiers said on his YouTube channel that Dhoni played some incredible cricket last year. Last year there were a lot of rumors about Dhoni's retirement, but it did not happen. He will come back again.

After this, when De Villiers was asked whether this would be Dhoni's last season? So while answering this he said that no one knows about it. He just seems like this diesel engine that never stops. He keeps running. What an incredible player, what an incredible captain.

Apart from this, De Villiers admitted that CSK has gained strength under the leadership of Dhoni. CSK is a team that scares everyone. It is never easy to defeat them. That's always a great feature of a very successful unit and a very successful franchise. When you're playing well, it happens. 'Yeah, no problem, nobody's going to stop us' but when you're not playing so well they always find a way to compete.
