Israel Iran Row: Iran retaliates after Israel attacks nuclear plants, Khamenei says will give severe punishment.

Iran has retaliated after Israel attacked nuclear plants. Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Israel will have to face severe punishment for attacking our country. Khamenei said that Israel will have to face severe punishment for attacking Iran. Israel's hands are stained with blood. It has committed a crime in our country. By attacking residential centers, Israel has exposed its malice. A befitting reply will be given to this.

Earlier, Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu accused Iran of pursuing a nuclear weapons program by ignoring global warnings. He said that in recent years Iran has produced enough enriched uranium for nine nuclear bombs. He warned that Tehran has taken steps to weaponize uranium. It can develop nuclear weapons in a few months. He compared the current situation to the prelude to World War II. Netanyahu said that eighty years ago the Jewish people were victims of the genocide carried out by the Nazi regime. Today, the Jewish state refuses to be the victim of a nuclear holocaust perpetrated by the Iranian regime.

Netanyahu said Iran calls Israel the Little Satan. It calls America the Big Satan. So for decades, it has inspired millions to chant death to Israel and America. Today Israel is responding to genocidal calls with action. Long live Israel and long live America. Our actions will help make the world a safer place.

Netanyahu said Iran's new plan to destroy Israel includes surrounding the country with regional proxies and launching direct attacks. But the people and soldiers of Israel rose like lions to defend our country. We crushed Hamas. We destroyed Hezbollah. We struck Iranian proxies in Syria and Yemen. When Iran attacked us directly twice last year, we retaliated inside Iran itself. Yet in defending ourselves, we also defend others.
