On Tuesday also, security was sought to remove the encroachment of the junkyards in Jahangirpuri, but this could not be possible due to a lack of police force.
Adesh Gupta has requested the Mayor in his letter. In this, he has said that some anti-social elements had pelted stones on the procession taken out on April 16. They have done illegal construction and encroachment under the protection of local leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party. Action should be taken to identify illegal constructions and encroachments.
Corporation wrote a letter to the Deputy Commissioner of Police
The North Delhi Municipal Corporation has written to the Commissioner of Police of the North-West District to conduct a drive against encroachment from Tuesday to Thursday. In this, the corporation informed that along with the Public Works Department, various departments of the corporations will run a campaign against encroachment in the Jahangirpuri area.
