Jharkhand Politics: The MLAs of the Jharkhand Grand Alliance government have been shifted from Ranchi to Raipur on Tuesday. All the MLAs will stay at the Mayfair Resort in Raipur. Police deployment has been ordered outside the resort. All the 47 rooms in the Mayfair resort have also been booked and all the MLAs will reach the resort at 7 pm. Meanwhile, a cabinet meeting has also been called on September 1 at 4 pm in Ranchi.
Till now the MLAs were present at the CM's residence.
Earlier, on August 27, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren along with other MLAs reached his residence in Ranchi amid political turmoil in the state. It is discussed that the disqualification of CM Hemant Soren has been recommended by the Election Commission, after which this political upheaval started. However, the decision of the Election Commission has not yet been told by the Governor of Jharkhand. On the other hand, a cabinet meeting has also been called in Ranchi on 1st September at 4 pm.
