The 29th edition of the Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF) began with grandeur at the Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata on Tuesday. Many well-known personalities including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha, Sourav Ganguly, and Mahesh Bhatt were present at the inauguration ceremony. During this, Salman has given such a statement in his speech, which is fast going viral among the audience.
In an interview at the event, Salman Khan amusingly compared Mamata Banerjee's residence with his own house in Mumbai and expressed jealousy towards her comfortable residence.
Addressing the audience at the inauguration ceremony, Salman Khan said, "When Didi invited me to her house, the only thing that came to my mind was that I want to see if her house is as small as she says. Is it smaller than my house or not?"
The actor further revealed that one day Anil Kapoor invited me and he said, 'Let's go to the first floor.' I saw that there were still four more floors. I think their house has become even bigger. I asked him if he had called me just to make me feel jealous of his house. I have to accept. "I'm jealous of my sister's house. Her house is smaller than mine."
