I belong to Congress for three generations. This important decision has been taken after deliberation and brainstorming. The question is not which party I am leaving. The question is, which party am I going to and why? It has been felt for a few years that today if there is any political party in the country in a real sense then it is BJP. The national party is BJP.

Contested elections from Tilhar Vidhan Sabha in 2017, but did not win this election either. In 2019, he again contested the Lok Sabha elections from Dhaurahra and again faced defeat.

Despite this, his fame among the common people was decreasing day by day. Political experts say that BJP will not get much benefit from Jitin's arrival. But Congress will have to bear the loss.
