‘Dhurandhar 2’ has set several records within just 15 days. It has surpassed some of the highest-grossing films in India. Now, the film is on track to overtake ‘Pushpa 2’—currently the highest-grossing Indian film worldwide. It has also left films like ‘Project Hail Mary’ and ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ in the dust. Aditya Dhar’s film, ‘Dhurandhar 2’, earned over ₹100 crore at the box office on its very first day. In its opening week, it raked in ₹674.17 crore. On Thursday, its earnings stood at ₹17.80 crore. Based on these figures, the film has amassed a total collection of ₹937.32 crore over 15 days. It is projected that the film’s earnings could reach the ₹1000 crore mark by this weekend.

 

 

The Film Sets Its Sights on Surpassing ‘Pushpa 2’

 

While performing exceptionally well in India, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is also generating tremendous revenue globally. In just 15 days, it has garnered a worldwide collection of ₹1492.17 crore. The film has already surpassed numerous other Indian films released this year. Now, it is poised to overtake the worldwide collection of Allu Arjun’s film, ‘Pushpa 2’. ‘Pushpa 2’ currently holds a worldwide collection of ₹1742.10 crore.

 

 

‘Project Hail Mary’s Collections

 

The Hollywood film ‘Project Hail Mary’, which was released in India on March 26, collected ₹2.55 crore on Thursday. Its total collection has now reached ₹24.70 crore. The film is currently earning at a rather slow pace. It stars Ryan Gosling in the lead role. Additionally, several actors—such as Sandra Hüller, James Ortiz, Ken Leung, and Priya Kansara—have played pivotal roles in this film.

 

 

Ustaad Bhagat Singh

 

South Indian actor Pawan Kalyan’s film, Ustaad Bhagat Singh, was released in theaters on March 19. The film failed to make a significant impact against Dhurandhar 2. On Thursday, it collected ₹45 lakhs. Its total collection now stands at ₹71.46 crores. This film has been released exclusively in the Telugu language.
