But likes being a director.
During the conversation, Kangana Ranaut was asked what is more challenging, being an actress or filmmaking. In response to this, she said, 'No, acting is not challenging at all. I think acting is very passive for me. I don't like being an actor at all. I hate it very much. I cannot tell you this because you come to the set and always keep thinking what is happening? '
Kangana further said, ' Apart from this, you think what is going on in my life? What am I doing? You know, how much time is being wasted. We all have such limited time and these are the best years of my life. Then there is the AD, who says we are ready, and when you are ready. Then they say wait, wait, even if you are in the lead role. You know, I hate it.'
The actress said, 'Being a director, I love being a director. You know, you ask me what is going on. I know. I will tell you.' She further said, 'I think I am one of the better directors who understands how insecure it is to be an actor. You know actors are my favorite people on the set. Because I know what is going on in their mind. So I like to take care of them.'
She said, 'I tell them to come and sit here. See this is going on right now. I like to guide them. I don't like being an actor.' Talking about the work front, Kangana will soon be seen in 'Emergency'. This film is going to be released on 6 September. 'Emergency' is based on true events that took place in 1975. It also stars Anupam Kher and Shreyas Talpade in key roles.
