Sona Selection India IPO: How Will the Money Be Used?

Unlike many IPOs that include an OFS component, Sona Selection India's entire ₹141.57 crore issue comprises fresh shares.

The company intends to use the proceeds for several purposes, including repayment of borrowings, purchase of plant and machinery and general corporate purposes.

The fresh capital is therefore intended to strengthen the company's balance sheet while supporting its manufacturing operations and capacity expansion.

What Is Sona Selection India?

Sona Selection India is an integrated textile manufacturing and processing company headquartered in Bhilwara, Rajasthan.

The company operates its manufacturing facility in the Bhilwara region and is involved in the processing and manufacturing of fabrics. The business includes activities such as fabric processing, dyeing and finishing.

The company was incorporated in 2022 and is seeking to use the IPO proceeds to strengthen its operations and reduce debt.

Sona Selection India IPO GMP Today

The Sona Selection India IPO GMP, or Grey Market Premium, is currently being reported at different levels by unofficial market trackers.

As of September 10, one tracker reports a GMP of around ₹6 per share. At the upper IPO price of ₹99, this would imply an indicative grey-market price of around ₹105, or approximately a 6.06% premium.

However, another IPO tracker currently shows the GMP at ₹0, highlighting the lack of consistency in unofficial grey-market data.

Investors should therefore treat the current GMP cautiously. Grey Market Premium is not an official exchange price, is not regulated by SEBI, and does not guarantee the actual listing price. It can change significantly before the IPO closes.

Sona Selection India IPO Lot Size and Minimum Investment

The IPO lot size is 150 shares.

At the upper price band of ₹99 per share, one lot will require a minimum investment of:

150 × ₹99 = ₹14,850

The minimum investment at the lower end of the price band would be ₹14,100.

Investors should keep the following dates in mind:
